The Emilia GT Story.

We dreamt of a sports car based on a classic Italian Gran Turismo – but equipped with modern high-performance components, such as the spectacular V6 engine built into Alfa Romeos’ current super model Giulia Quadrifoglio. Our vision also included superior agility provided by ultra-light carbon parts, and lovingly designed details of the highest manufacturing quality. Made for car enthusiasts like us, for whom an automobile is so much more than just a means of transport.

But we have stopped dreaming.

E x t e r i o r

Sometimes you have to reinvent yourself
to stay true to yourself.

How does a designer approach one of the most beautiful automobiles ever created? First of all, with a great deal of respect. For its proportions, its lines and curves. For the surfaces and shapes. They have lasted for decades, increasing in elegance over time and with every ride.

With the design of the new Emilia GT Veloce, we take a bow of respect not only before the original, the Alfa Romeo Giulia GT from the 60s and 70s, but also before the art of “pure sports car” theory.

Flush, italian-style door handles are perfectly fitting the clean lines

Front and rear are substantially widened to accomodate the larger wheels, making the restomod instantly identifiable. The elegant and clean side line still remains visible.

The big air outlet on the trailing edge of the front fenders can be found in similar shape on other classic sportscar icons and hints to the performance of the Emilia GT Veloce.

Windows and roof section are carried over from the original. The door shape is also equivalent to the classic vehicle although it is made of carbon fibre for weight saving

the tear-off edge is integrated into the bootlid shape and the clean shape of the body

Underbody design and the rear diffuser are creating aerodynamic downforce, thus eliminating the need for additional spoilers.

The wheels are adequate in size to handle the increased power but are styled in a way to echo the design of the classic car

The front hood has a power dome to make room for the powerful V6. The lines run towards the front of the Scudetto.

Modern LED technology meets classically shaped headlights. Typical styling elements like the Scudetto, the step front („scalino“) and air intakes were modified with respect where necessary to give room for the larger engine and radiators. Aerodynamic elements were added in a subtle manner.

Subtle aerodynamic changes were made to the rear end of the vehicle – no extra spoilers needed. LED taillights are well integrated into the design, at the same time telling the expert that it is the Emilia GT.

an everlasting love

FOR THE LAST SUPERCAR.
